Last week we went to City College for a photo/video shoot for some new marketing pieces. We had fun with C&I Studios who helped us film and take amazing photos of the students in action. We shot at City Colleges’ lively campus in Hollywood, Florida. During our shoot we talked with Vet Tech, Emergency Medical Services, and Cardiovascular Sonography students and instructors. Everyone was excited to be involved in the shoot, and talked highly of their programs. Here are our top highlights from the shoot:
Emergency Medical Services – This was the first classroom we shot footage in. The students were excited to be on camera, and show what they’ve learned so far. The EMS lab is really cool looking, there is even an entire ambulance inside the classroom! The students acted out a scenario where they found an unresponsive male. They went through the entire process of how they should respond. They were given an A+ for their performance, we would totally trust them if we found ourselves in any medical trouble.
Vet Tech – Next we moved onto Vet Tech. The first thing we were thrilled to see was real animals in the lab! The students and faculty are actually allowed to bring their pets into class to help them learn their class material, how cool! We filmed a student performing an exam on a cat (she totally aced it!). Then we moved onto the x-ray machine, where they used a fake dog to practice giving an x-ray to find out what was wrong with the injured animal. All of the students were so passionate and caring for the animals in the lab, they are going to be amazing at their jobs when they graduate.
One of our best interviews was with their Senior Admissions Rep. She totally lives and breathes her role at City College, and we were blown away with her responses during her short interview. She showed so much passion for her role, and her sense of caring for the students was absolutely fantastic. She was definitely meant for her role at City College, but she shined in front of the camera, too!
Overall we had a great day filming at City College, and we can’t wait to go back!
